Paintings, Wildflowers and Butterflies

Here is a little of what I have been up to this past week…..  I have a new painting, hot off the easel today, painted for the Orange Regional Gallery’s ‘100 km Show’ on the theme ‘sustainability’. Also, on beautiful, sunny Saturday, (despite weatherman’s prediction of wet, cold weather), I traveled up to Mount Canobolas to try and catch the wildflowers. Although they were probably a week or two past their best, there were many still flowering around the ‘Walls’ picnic area, just past Federal Falls.  Butterflies were out in force, pollinating the fabulous variety of wildflowers of the heath lands. We live in such a beautiful place! I hope you enjoy some of the photos below 🙂
